Hagshult church (Sweden)

Hagshult kyrkby

Hagshult village is located in southern Sweden in the region of Småland.
In Hagshult village a medieval church stand firm. The church was built in the year of 1751

Inside the church one may find preserved wall paintings from the 1600 century among a crucifix from the 1300 century. The village in which the church is located lies in a landscape of forest rich of moss. Through the ages the land has belonged to farmers. The village derives from the middle ages, even though remaining rune stones can be found from the Iron Age as
